Setu Nepal, in collaboration with Changunarayan Municipality, proudly organized the impactful event "Unite! Invest to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls" on December 6, 2023, at the Training Hall of Changunarayan Municipality, Helmet Dada. The theme emphasized the collective responsibility and investment required from individuals, communities, and institutions to create a safer environment for women and girls. The Chief Guest, Mr. Jeevan Khatri, Chief Executive, graced the occasion, reinforcing the importance of community leaders in the fight against gender-based violence. The event successfully reached 60 participants from Changunarayan Municipality, fostering awareness and facilitating open conversations. The Bhaktapur District Police Officer presented the current scenario of Bhaktapur based on gender-based violence. Achievements include increased community awareness, open dialogue, and the inspiration of participants to take concrete actions.
