On 3rd April 2026, we conducted a community orientation programme focused on the LGBTIQ+ community at D'village Restaurant, Chipledhunga, Pokhara.
The session brought together community representatives to discuss important topics including identity, health and safety, stigma, HIV-related issues, and fundamental rights and freedoms.
A special highlight of the program was the public screening of our documentary featuring Rajani Thakali. Project Coordinator, Naulo Bihani shared powerful voices and lived experiences from the community.
The programme included an open discussion, creating a safe space for participants to share their experiences and perspectives.
The programme was concluded with the special remarks from Mr. Arjun Chhetri, Public Health Officer, Pokhara Metropolitan City.
We sincerely thank all community representatives for their openness and courage, and Pokhara Metropolitan City for encouraging access to support services for GBV-related concerns.
Together, we continue to work toward a more inclusive, respectful, and safe society for all.
