LGBTIQ+ Health, Rights and Inclusion

Orientation Program

On 24 March, we conducted a community orientation programme focused on the LGBTIQ+ community at Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital.

The session brought together community representatives to discuss important topics including identity, health and safety, stigma, #HIV-related issues, and fundamental rights and freedoms.

A special highlight of the program was the first public screening of our documentary featuring Mausami Gurung, sharing powerful voices and lived experiences from the community.

The programme concluded with an open discussion, creating a safe space for participants to share their experiences and perspectives.

We sincerely thank all community representatives for their openness and courage, and OCMC for encouraging access to support services for GBV-related concerns.

Together, we continue to work toward a more inclusive, respectful, and safe society for all.
