On June 4, 2024, the Setu Nepal staff participated in a meditation class led by yoga instructor, Miss Benju Thapa. The session began with an eye exercise where participants focused on the flame of a candle. This practice was intended to help them concentrate and clear their minds in preparation for the rest of the session. Following the eye exercise, the class moved into a warm-up routine that aimed to gently loosen muscles and improve circulation, setting a relaxed and attentive tone for the yoga poses that came next. The yoga segment included a series of poses designed to stretch and strengthen the body, enhancing both physical well-being and mental clarity. The class concluded with a meditation session accompanied by the soothing sounds of a singing bowl, which facilitated a deep state of relaxation and mindfulness. Participants found the entire experience to be exceptionally calming and reported feeling refreshed and centered afterward. The combination of focused eye exercises, physical activity, and meditative practices provided a comprehensive approach to relaxation and mental rejuvenation, making the session a resounding success for all involved.
