This is Sarmila Shrestha (name changed) a 22 years old girl.
" When I was 13 years my father went to Malaysia to earn money for my family. After few years my mother got sick and diagnosed with HIV positive. It was worst nightmare in our family. My father came all the way from Malaysia. Moreover, I and my younger brother and sister diagnosed HIV positive besides my father and elder brother. My father again went back Malaysia to work even harder to support our treatment.
No matter how deep I was broken inside , I was always keen to continue my further education .Therefore I couldn’t stop my feeling and stared to work in the house . After 3 years my father returned back to Nepal. He started to listen to other people in society and never came to see us.
Luckily one of my doctors talked to one organization about my situation and however I got a support from that organization and fortunately I was able to complete my higher education.
Due to the government rules and regulations I was not allowed to stay in that organisation furthermore. One day Setu Nepal approached me and somehow the organisation helped me to continue my study by acting as bridge with NYF ( Nepal Youth Foundation) organisation. Moreover, I got the scholarship from NYF organisation. I must say Setu Nepal helps me in my every difficulty. Therefore I am very pleased and thankful to Setu Nepal for supporting me and adding meaning to my life.
And again I have small hope that Setu Nepal will support for my treatment. I got the problem of my Ear and doctors told me that I am loosing my hearing power slowly. Therefore, I need a surgery of my ears as soon as possible."
SETU Nepal always wants to support this bright pupil like Sarmila. Therefore on behalf of SETU Nepal we appeal you a financial support for her treatment. The need is real. Your small contribution can give a new life to Sarmila.
Thank you.
