SETU Nepal runs a variety of capacity-building programmes for women living with HIV and survivors of gender-based violence.
These include three- or four-day training sessions covering topics ranging from female empowerment to financial literacy. The most important of these are women's empowerment and gender and sexuality issues. We also place a strong focus on HIV/AIDS and healthy nutrition.
In addition, we offer skills-based training in areas such as pickle making, mushroom farming and vermicomposting.
Various methods are used to facilitate discussion of these topics in each programme, including brainstorming, group discussions, presentations, games, role-plays and art.
