On 8 September 2025, during the Gen-Z protest, young Roshan B.K. was severely injured by a gunshot, leaving him unable to hold his head upright, speak clearly or care for himself. For his mother, Mrs. Ishwori B.K., the tragedy brought trauma and despair.
Yet, Ishwori never gave up. Setu Nepal found them, who stepped in with counseling, nutrition support and resilience-building care.
For Roshan, counseling brought comfort and encouragement, helping him to express himself despite his challenges. With his mother’s unwavering care and Setu Nepal’s psychosocial support, he is making gradual progress.
Today, Ishwori says she feels hopeful once more, grateful for the community that stood beside her. Their journey reflects the power of resilience, love, and support—showing that even in the darkest times, hope can be restored.
