My name is sabina Lama and I am eighteen years old. I was convicted for eleven years and a $2500 fine in a drug case. I am married and my husband is also imprisoned for the same crime. We have spent ten months in prison, and do not have any legal and family support. I do not expect anyone to help me as i am guilty and should serve the full sentence. However, I would be thankful, if anyone could help me by providing me with books, so i can continue my education. I only graduated from the eighth grade and would like to further my education. Being inside jail I am unable to continue my studies, however, I would like to gain a bachelors degree after i am released, so that I can at least support myself to live a dignified life. I have yet many more years to serve in prison and would like to make use of that time by studying and teaching those women inside prison, which would at least help them to be literate.
