Whatever be the age and the stage of life that you are in right now, thinking about those early childhood memories that will forever be wrapped in your heart will give you the finest of feelings. Watching the children of SETU Nepal involve in making and playing with their handmade dolls, takes me down memory lane, back to the days where spare clothes and ornamental materials were the base for precious toys and making beautiful dolls out of them with the highest level of creativity we could pour down in them, were the most amazing times.
I think that the emotions attached to those toys and dolls is what makes these moments so mesmerizing and lively at the closest hint, which is something that can't be witnessed with the readymade toys from the market. And today I feel blessed to fill the emotional childhood albums of these children with such golden memories that they will cherish even long afterwards. Making these dolls not only was great fun but also a footstep in learning the different combinations of colors and skills in their own lives, that make their journey more vibrant and ravishing.
They will have something lively to share and something cherishing to look back on in their 80's.
