Padma Rana, 45 years old lady has recently (15 June 2013) been released from jail after 5.4 years of imprisonment. She was welcomed by her children, younger sister and Setu as well, when she got released. However, she did not seem much excited in spite of her release after such a long time and reunion with her family, because she was worried about her children rather than herself. She is now with her 5 children and her first priority for now is to investigate the death of her daughter who died 4 months ago in a children home. Her second priority is to provide citizens identity of her 5 alive children with whom she lives. It is very difficult to get citizenship by the name of the mother. As the act of Nepalese government is very complicated and supporting the patriarchy society, many unnecessary question arises in the absence of the father. In this situation, Padma needs emotional and legal support from Setu Nepal at first. In this regard, we took her to the counseling center for assessing her psychosocial situation. Setu has planned to address her challenges as much as possible in future too so that it would be easy for Padma and her children to reintegrate into the society.
