Engaging the Public in the 16 Days of Activism

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, observed from November 25 to December 10, is a global campaign dedicated to ending violence against women. In alignment with this movement, SETU Nepal, with support from the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, launched a series of activities aimed at empowering women living with HIV and survivors of violence while addressing stigma and discrimination.

To kick off the campaign, Setu Nepal organized an interactive quiz on Facebook and Instagram. From 25 November to 10 December, a daily question related to gender-based violence was posted on our social media platforms. Participants researched the questions and shared their answers in the comment sections, creating an engaging space for learning and dialogue. Each day, a participant with the correct answer was selected as a winner.
