As a pioneer program in partnership with Volunteer Co-operation Program of CECI (CECI-PCV), we conducted vermicomposting training for thirty-five potential women of Kathmandu Valley who are willing to pave their way to economic empowerment. The participant included marginalized women from slum areas of valley, internal migrants as well as urban residents of valley.
With this environment friendly approach of empowerment, we aim to come up with the concept of mushroom cultivation too which will be an integrated approach for the vermiculture as well as the flourishing kitchen gardening concept in recent days.
