As 2082 festive season came to a joyful close, the children of Aarati Home celebrated the festival season with warmth, laughter and a deep sense of gratitude. The celebrations reflected the true spirit of Nepal’s vibrant traditions — unity, faith and the joy of togetherness.

Dashain Celebration at Aarati Home
The Dashain festival at Aarati Home was filled with happiness and shared moments of joy. The children spent the day receiving tika and blessings from their elders, playing games, dancing and enjoying treats. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement, capturing the essence of Dashain as a time for family and cultural connection.
Lakshmi Puja
During Tihar, on the day of Lakshmi Puja, they decorated their home to welcome goddess Laxmi for blessing and prosperity. They made beautiful flower garlands, made colorful Rangoli ,lit traditional oil lamps. All the children prayed to the goddess laxmi by offering tika, flowers, sweets. They also played deusi bhailo. The celebration offered an opportunity for the children to learn the significance of faith, gratitude, and cultural preservation while experiencing the beauty of Nepal’s traditions in a warm and joyful environment.

Celebrating the Bond of Bhai Tika

The festive week concluded with the celebration of Bhai Tika, a day that symbolizes the enduring bond between brothers and sisters. The children exchanged tika, blessings and good wishes, marking the occasion with music, colors and heartfelt joy.
